WHAT??? no Gentoo??? OMG!!! :) Just kidding, wrong type of distro for the
target crowd (this year).

With regards to platforms, I would suggest just sticking with x86 and x86_64.
The important thing is to make people aware there are other options. In all
the installfests, I think I've been asked for ONE ppc disk.

Further to this, I have picked up 200 CDs, 160 CD Labels, and a CD Label
starter kit (apparently you can't get the "stomper" seperately). The label
kit uses a different brand of labels, but does add an additional 50 labels.
In addition, I have approx 50 DVDs and another 100 CDs from my bookshelf
which can be donated.

There are just TOO many distros out there. We know from previous experience
(at the Installfests), that burning CDs on demand is way too time consuming.
It's better to have some pre-burned copies, and show/explain how to find the
ISOs and burn them to those that need something not covered. So my
suggestion would be to stick with some well known distros (DSL is well known
for lightweight systems) and maybe put together a page that explains how to
get and burn an ISO.

I like the idea of the burning party.

Shawn
