try typing :
modprobe capability
And add an entry into /etc/modules.conf if that solves your problem.
You'll want to restart your server after that ... there can be some problems
when loading the capability module manually. I hear things about processes
receiving unwanted privilege escalations ... I have no experience with that
though.
