Just a little observation is that 'trust worthy' does not equal 'secure'. Sure the card contains design elements that make it hard to forge, but the the data on the card is not secure. There are many cases of night clubs using driving licenses as proof of ID, and then capturing all the personal information contianed in the 2D barcode on the back (which contains quite a bit of info!) and then spamming the holder.
