Just re-read this message now that I've gotten GPG setup for me. I understand what you mean now. Sorry I was being so cocky before. I get frustrated easily when I can't figure out something that initially appears stupid but is really very intelligent.

Actually, PGP (GPG) is one of the greatest things to happen to email
since....email. I think you need to spend some time looking into why the
people on this list do things the way they do. There is usually a good reason
for it. You have done a lot of "this is the way I do it, so it's the right
way" and so far, I hope you've learned a thing or two (or three).
