There we go, its in /etc/apache2 (t appeared all of a sudden!!)
Now, I checked both httpd.conf and apache2.conf and can't find any setting for my DocumentRoot.. suggestions?

common apache config dirs include:
/etc/apache2
/etc/apache
/etc/httpd
