Sounds like a good idea to me.  Doing something as a CLUG special interest 
group,
at least at the start, wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.  It would at least 
give
the group a starting point -- a 'kernel', if you will ;O)

This could especially be a good way for young people like myself to learn a bit 
about
the finer points of running a business, be it consulting or otherwise.  Even 
though
I'm not in the IT industry at a professional level, the concepts and practises 
are
generally the same (within a margin of error) wherever you go.
