Would you be interested? Maybe.... Basically I'm quite interested in partaking in a community wireless project (I did some stuff in the UK) and hacking these sorts of devices turns me on (well not really, it's just interesting). I'm an electronic engineer so poking wires where they shouldn't be is just fun :-) I'm hoping that a few people will be able to attend who have some experience with Freifunk code so that 'we' can get an idea of whether/how it might be of us and what we might be able to achieve. My main question is 'if I buy WRT54G Ver5 what real chance is there of getting enough code into it to make it worth while'? (Ver5 is $50, Ver4 is $90). Simon. PS.
