it installs its own versions of all the servers in question as it has patches, 
special ./configure options and lots of configuration glue that enables all 
the individuals bit to run together as one seamless groupware whole.

it does expect to take the mail related ports (of course =) but you can 
reassign the web related ports to non-standard ports. they are just used for 
admin and for free/busy from horde.
