This reminds me of something. I've used www.internetfrog.com to check my bandwidth before, and get decent results, usually around the CABLE range. But... if I use the same service from my Windows box (exactly the same network, using the same cable modem), it comes back around the DSL range. Any idea what's going on there? How accurate are these bandwidth testing sites, anyway? I emailed them with this question, but didn't get a response. >> You sure can with a terrestrial link > > Yeah. Well. I'm in the country. Poo. I'd give my right arm to live in the country (I'm left-handed, so I don't want to get rid of my left arm and be forced to use my right....) -- Brad _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
