-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I took the plunge and installed Dapper on my laptop. I probably could have had a more productive weekend if I hadn't done this (breezy was working great, I didn't *need* to change).
Well, apart from being annoyed that there are so many little things that I have to redo, I did notice that suspend/resume now works with the fglrx kernel module installed. In fact if I am connected to AC, the laptop resumes directly into a locked screen saver session, which looks pretty cool. I am using the same kernel as before, but with a stock Dapper install around it (I formatted and installed). So, if you send me the config file that matches your kernel (found in the /boot directory) I can try and build a .deb for you of the kernel I am using (I can't simply give you mine b/c it is customized for AMD). Other than that I don't really have any more suggestions (you did try the non-SMP kernel... right...?).
