What I am trying to do is that following this instruction; in order to install Oracle, requiring SOME pre installation steps, very important as I failed before. According to this: http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/10g/OracleDB10gR2InstallationOnFedora5.php I stuck with this step! Setup Install the following packages: # From Fedora Core 5 DVD cd /media/dvd/Fedora/RPMS rpm -Uvh setarch-* rpm -Uvh --force tcl-* rpm -Uvh openmotif-2* rpm -Uvh compat-db-* rpm -Uvh compat-libstdc++-33* rpm -Uvh compat-libf2c-32-* rpm -Uvh compat-gcc-32-* rpm -Uvh libaio-* rpm -Uvh compat-gcc-32-c++-* rpm -Uvh compat-libstdc++-296* rpm -Uvh compat-libgcc-296* rpm -Uvh rsh-* These guys doesn't ring a bell to me.. generous help would appreciate.
