where you have more than a point to point communication.

VoIP quality is so hard to qualify - is it the talker, mic, soundcard,
codec, network, codec, soundcard, speakers, or listener????

Can you do Skype->Sykpe on a private network (ie. without access to the
internet). Maybe some quantative testing should be done.

There are also a couple of applications to record the RTP streams (which
most VoIP protocols use), VOMIT to name but one....

Personally I use a hard SIP phone and Ekiga as a softphone.
