I don't know why its happening though because its been fine for the last two weeks. All of a sudden. Wammo.
What have I changed lately... hmm... well, I loaded up smbfs and samba - thats it though.

It could be that the screen saver is forcing hardware blanking, or even
attempting to suspend the machine. I would check the screen saver
settings and the BIOS settings - try disabling them to see which make a
difference.
