The GUI interface to configure a Samba server is called "swat", short for Samba Web Administration Tool. On any debian-derived distro, install "swat" with
apt-get install swat Make sure to follow the "swat" instructions or the Samba server won't let you access it's configuration. In addition, Samba uses CUPS for it's printing back-end so CUPS has to be configured, too.
