 This just in on the alternate router front.. .

LINKSYS REVOLUTIONISED the Wi-Fi world with its open, Linux-based hardware, 
which sparked several alternative firmware versions.

One, from a Brazilian company dubbed Italbrasnet, brings enhanced firmware to 
low-cost wireless routers using the inexpensive Realtek chipsets.
