I agree that a poll is better than cluttering up the mailing list, but running 
Linux is a requirement, dude. 

Anyhow, turns out that there's a million and one polls available on the 
Internets-I was just looking for the wrong thing.

First of all, it's a bad sample because you know that most of us run Linux. 
Secondly, it's probably best to use a poll on the web site
instead of cluttering up the mailing list.
