I use twinview on new media PC (well actually a bunch of leftover
parts). The TV has a different set of parameters.
Here is the excerpt from my xorg.conf
Section "Device"
Identifier "Intel Corporation 82815 CGC [Chipset Graphics
Controller]"
Driver "nvidia"
Option "TwinView"
Option "SecondMonitorHorizSync" "30-50"
Option "SecondMonitorVertRefresh" "60"
Option "MetaModes" "1024x768, 1024x768; 800x600, 800x600;
640x480, 640x480;"
Option "TVStandard" "NTSC-M"
Option "TwinViewOrientation" "LeftOf"
EndSection
I am also comfortable with being an evil binary driver user. Maybe
Intel can help put pressure on Nvidia and ATI, but I am also not holding
my breath.
