Just a heads up - last year Clug participated in the annual Fame For Food with 'A Channel' now 'CityTV' in December. "This annual food drive offers members of the public, groups, businesses and non-profit organizations a chance to record a greeting (15 seconds) in exchange for food or cash donations to the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank."
It is a great opportunity for Clug to support the community but also to get some free exposure. We had a reasonable showing last year and even donations by some that could not make the event though we were slow in getting out of the gate. I have just received a letter of invitation from 'CityTV' so this time we have adequate time for everyone to book a few minutes in their calendar. It is at - Sobeys London Town Square and Sobeys Millrise -- last year we chose the south location as it was still more central. The date of the event is Saturday, December 2nd from Noon - 6PM. I believe we meet at 5 last year -- I still believe this is a good time for everyone, it doesn't breakup your day too much and is a transitional time period between activities for most people.
