Hello All vim experts,

I am going to attach a copy of my vimrc file that Suse uses and if
possible the .vimrc file that Zenwalk uses

What I can do in Zenwalk that I can not do ins Suse in each one's vim
editor is to get the line wrap to go to the current tab setting when
wrapping lines.

Line wrap works in Suse but wraps to the beginning of each line instead
of to the current tab.

I could not figure out howto attach the hidden file .vimrc in Zenwalk
partition from Suse just now and a few minutes ago could not attach the
hidden file .vimrc to an email message to be sent in Zenwalk So the only
vimrc file I could attach to any message I sent is this four page vimrc
file in Suse which does not get my line wrap to wrap to the appropriate tab.

If you want to see both the vimrc file from /etc/vimrc in Suse together
with /home/michael/.vimrc in Zenwalk I will have to bring their
printouts to the next clug meeting.

I could not figure out how to change my vimrc file to get vim to behave
in Suse close to the way it behaves in Zenwalk.

The Zenwalk .vimrc file is one page with few comments and the vimrc file
in Suse is four pages with loads of comments. Unfortunately I could not
figure out what the comments mean or how I should compare these
configuration files.

Any help appreciated in advance

Michael
