I followed the instructions at ubuntuguide.org (there's a wealth of info
there for Edgy) and it ran no problem on Edgy.  However, I'm on 64bit
Edgy, and still can't get Xvid's to run - under Kaffeine or MPlayer.
We'll that's not quite true - If I try to run the files I have on
/media/sdb1 it fails.  But if I run the same files which had been
earlier copied to /home/me/share, it works fine.  Odd.

I'm d/l'ing a new file for testing purposes...
