It's weird, for sure. But until I installed it, VMPlayer (note, Player)
would not install. It's the first thing it checked for. Again, though, I
have never been asked for it on Ubuntu to Kubutnu, just Xubuntu...

I do NOT have a "most" program on my platform, so I don't understand why
