After seeing a guy debug 'previously-un-debuggable' malware at DefCon
[1], I don't know how much faith I'd put in off-the-shelf utilities.
However, I also don't know much about this field, and I'm definitely
not sure about what you want the obfuscation for.  Keep in mind,
though, "secure by design" is generally a much better goal than
"security by obscurity."
