Greetings, Since the announcement that I was the sacrificial lamb for this event, it has already surpassed a full week!
A cold lonely week at that. The call went out to huddle and chat 'bout this thing. Well the attendance was lukewarm, but a full 1.5hrs of constantly interrupted activity by those that showed up. Ok, not much has happened besides the meeting - but the yawns are starting, soon some limbs might move too. Are we short of time? For what? Are you interested in this beast? Why? Some folks may have resigned for lack of notice or communication or whatever! Well, I am here to shoot at - I dare you to show me what you have! oh? nuthin? you say? how many of you ingrained into me this this thing...FUD!!! well FUD to you to! What do you think the fest should achieve? Anything? YOU don't know? Well don't take all weekend!!! You don't wish to show up? Care to share, in public or private? So the bells are ringing... let your juices flow... What should this "festival" be about? what can we do? What can you do? Yes, we are all highly skilled in many many ways. Together, we can make it a boomster!! aha a new word for my book. I will get off my soapbox if we can each take turns to get on. Are we all in this together, or would you rather see this thing not take off or watch me fall? Choice is yours. Event date: got shoved around..was Q2 then Q3, what next? Exact date is being worked on.. care to participate? How many tracks? What tracks? Sponsors? Speakers? which other lugs do you know?
