Hello. I've been away from Linux for awhile, however I find myself itching to get back in. Since I haven't really been keeping track of things I was wondering if anybody can give me any advice on wireless cards to purchase. It will be going into a laptop so PCMCIA/Cardbus or perhaps USB will be necessary. The laptop doesn't have a rough in for the antennae' in it's Mini PCI bay so that won't work. I need 802.11b and g for sure, support for a would be nice but not required. I'm not too concerned about N right now due to the total lack of vendor standardization, however I won't say no to an otherwise good card that has it. I'd also like the card to have working rfmon support, so I can do site surveys.
Any experiences would be nice. Thank you. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
