Hi All, Sorry to bother you on this Saturday evening before New Years but we're desperately looking for some paid Linux expertise. EDM Studio (www.edmstudio.com) is our Calgary-based company that creates large-scale digital interactive exhibits for museums and institutions. We've just taken delivery of a fileserver and rendernode for use in producing an animation for the UoC. Both boxes are running Suse 10.1.
We are after a Linux hacker for 1-2 days just to (i) sort out some internal networking/samba woes and, more importantly, (ii) have a 'best effort' attempt at installing and configuring the open-source/python render queue software, http://drqueue.org/project/ for use with Houdini's mantra renderer (www.sidefx.com). If you're intrigued by the latter problem rather than scared of it, you're probably the person we need ;-) If you're interested, please give me a call on (w) 228-2008 or (h) 245-8775. As our delivery deadline is a mere two week's away, the chance of finding us on the work number late into the night are extremely high. Cheers, Darran. -- Darran Edmundson [EMAIL PROTECTED] Interactive visualization for museums and industry http://www.edmstudio.com _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
