I mentioned Drupal-Dojo at tonights meeting, and was asked to post more details... I've posted these details to my personal site (http://grover.open2space.com/node/124), but here's the quick run down: Drupal-Dojo has been created as an educational group to help budding Drupal developers to learn the Drupal ways. The group is NOT a support group, but is an educational tool, with lessons and all. The intent of the group is to help Drupal administrators and developers learn the ins and outs of working with custom modules, custom themes, and maybe even the core Drupal components. They are planning on holding regular meetings. The nature of the meetings is currently being discussed (see the comments at http://groups.drupal.org/node/2215 for more on this), but the FIRST lesson is planned for Thursday night from 6:00pm to 8:00pm (hope I got the time zone changes right) on IRC channel #drupal-dojo. If you have worked with Drupal, and are looking to make it do more for you - in terms of themes or modules - then this group is for you. There is a LOT of interest in it - more than 160 people signed up officially for the group within the first 48 hours. There are currently more than 300 folks signed up and it's only been around for a week. Hope to see you at the lesson.
