I have not been able to dial an ISP from my cell since 2003 when I bought my first "Edge" (marketing name for GSM data) enabled phone. Cell data service is ridiculously overpriced right now, which is why I pay for Rogers portable, still expensive @ $50/month, but way cheaper for me than a cell data plan, and faster.
