Hi all, As you all know we're heavily into the planning stage of the Calgary Linux Fest 2007. Part of this is to create the visual image for the Fest, and we're asking all of you to contribute.
What we need is some suggestions for Themes/Logos which will be used on the
literature we hand out, on posters and T-Shirts, etc.... We appreciate that not
all of us are artists, at this time we're focused on finding the best idea
(tailoring of the images can been done later).
One theme that has been suggested is Cowboy/Western, but that's been rather
overdone for everything that happens in Calgary.
We are suggesting images (which may be identical or a variation on a theme) for:
CD Logo, approx. 1" x 1"
Website Banner, 'Full Banner' (486 x 60 pixel)
T-Shirt Logo, approx. 8" x 8"
Poster, scalable from letter size up to 4' x 8'
Ideally the images should be in SVG (or other vector format) and in a maximum
of 4 'spot' colours, but we can work with anything.
The submissions should be emailed to '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' and received by Monday
23rd April. If you have more than one idea/concept please submit them
seperately (ie. 1 idea/concept per email).
Hopefully we'll be able to announce the winner at the May CLUG meeting, and of
course they will be fully acknowledged in the programme etc.
