Perhaps something on a general home server?

Covering such things as

-CUPS (print server)
-FTP (file server)
-HTTP (web server)

Etcetera.

We need to start thinking about our next meeting -- any suggestions? It
would be nice to have the topics somewhat in line with the planning for
workshops. As you know there are a number of multi-media workshops
coming up so that could be a suitable topic.

Using a content management system for web pages, there are a number of
options there. I know some use Drupal, other Mambo or Joomla in the
group. I am sure someone could speak to Metadot, Plone, etc.

Both Szemir and Gustin were talking after the meeting about some
networking fundamenntals are not clear and that they could speak for
hours on that or was it more like, where to do we start and how much
depth do we need to cover. Personally, there are some learnings that I
personally have learned in the last couple of years that were not
touched on and that information fundamentally alters my views of how to
put things together.

File sharing - Samba and access. Simple in concept but difficult to get
right. I have used a distro type solution like ebox-platform that works
well.

Any topic that you know that you would like to share with the group. If
we aim for a panel type environment, you don't need to be the guru, just
comfortable with the subject.
