There's no Linux version of Mozy, I'm afraid... and I believe they use a proprietary protocol, so unless they release their source code (or someone reverse engineers the protocol), it'll be up to them to develop a Linux version...
I'm with you though, for your average end user (and for that matter, for technical folks too), it's a great, painless backup tool. There's a professional version (that offers increased functionality for business clients) at mozypro.com as well. I can't speak about this though, I haven't used it...
