Basically most modern Linux distros have support for network emulation. The site above is essentially the documentation for this functionality. It is a pretty handy tool kit to have around. All the talk of NFS, CIFS etc, reminded my of my attempts to tune and improve my NFS experience. Although I was never able to get a satisfactory result via NFS, I did learn a lot. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGg278wRXgH3rKGfMRArQLAJ0VMSR8ZwwRCqoSBOJ/+B8p/0HUlwCgqQ3N mCPpRxpSIqm2B7fjO3NIxZU= =vqZr -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
