I used my T68i (tri-band GSM) that I had from the UK. Walked into a Rogers store and said I wanted a month by month contract.... no problems just had to produce ID, the guy even tested out the phine with his own simm first to ensure that it was unlocked. BTW. When talking to Rogers last year, I actually got them to offer a data only connection with a discount for not having the voice part (say it's for a PCMCIA GSM card), might prove useful for VoIP/Data only.
