Hi All,

For those that are interested in some of the various CMS' that are available
there's an interesting article in this month's "Linux Format Special". While
not cheap.... a whopping $34.50, it's packed with all the tools you'll need
to start developing websites of your own in either Windows or Linux.

There's a comparison of some of the more popular CMS's in which my favorite,
Joomla comes out on top. For those considering attending the upcoming
workshop, Drupal came in a close second, but for surprising reasons. The
editors summary reads something like" While Drupal's got the maturity (and
should be the winner) behind it once you get past the installation, Joomla
is the better choice for a modern, user friendly CMS with an active,
passionate and thriving community supporting it." IMHO, both will do what
you want ....... Joomla just does it better.....for me. Shawn's sold on
Drupal and has done some good stuff with it also.

Regardless, have fun at the workshop. If I can do it anyone can. :-)
