er, yeah. That's the nature of facebook though - set up a profile for yourself with as much (or little) info as you want. Then you can hook up with friends that have similar interestes.
Within two days of signing up, I sat down to coffee with a friend I had gone to Elementary school with in Thunder Bay. Within 3 days, I had re-established connection to a lot of high school friends... I'm of mixed feelings here - you have to give out some personal data for facebook to be useful, but it's usefulness is good. I'm aware of at least 4 other CLUG members on there though... One of them is our local celebrity.. :) Shawn bogi wrote: > Good, a login name and a password is needed for this one :-) > Cheers > Szemir > > On August 3, 2007 01:19, sgrover wrote: >> For anyone who's on Facebook, Mitchell set up the "Calgary Linux Users >> Group" there: >> >> http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2375393651&ref=mf >> >> Shawn >> >> _______________________________________________ >> clug-talk mailing list >> [email protected] >> http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca >> Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) >> **Please remove these lines when replying > > _______________________________________________ > clug-talk mailing list > [email protected] > http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca > Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) > **Please remove these lines when replying _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
