That pk limitation is odd. PKs are very useful, but there ARE occasional times where a PK is not needed. But now that I think about it, I'd have to work hard to find a reasonable situation where this may be the case...
Then again, people who really understand the uses of primary/foreign keys probably aren't using Base natively like that. Glad to hear you got it working though.
