HI all,
Call for Volunteers: Distro Burning Task:
This is the closest i could get in estimating the numbers of distros needed
for cossfest. And here is the breakdown by distro:

I have the cd and dvd stocks ready, so would appreciate if the volunteers
would pick them up as needed. We could agree to a central place where we all
meet at a certain time and do this ...

100 Ubuntu 7.10 CD
25 Kubuntu 7.10 CD

25 Fedora 7 DVD (Only 32 bit )

20 Mandriva 2008.0 DVD (Only 32 bit )

10 Centos 5 DVD (Only 32 bit)

10 Debian 4 DVD (Only 32 bit)

10 OpenSuse 10.3 DVD (Only 32 bit)

10 DSL 3.4.4 CD

I have all the isos , will give them to you on a dvd , so you only need to
burn them.

Regarding the large quantity of Ubuntu, it would be prudent if 2-3 people took
the task so we have a faster turnover.

* Ubuntu and kubuntu has not been released yet, expected tomorrow :-)

Please contact me off list to make the arrangement for the iso and the stock,
otherwise post your take to the list, so we all see what is taken and what is
left.

And last but not least, Thank you all who came forth to volunteer for this
task set.

I have also got the stickers available, and would like a Volunteer or 2 to
print the sticker sheets, this will likely require a color inkjet or laser,
and 210 printouts or a bit more, would be nice to do a bit more, just in case
some of the stickers are damaged during transfer.

I looks that we will have a stomper available soon so putting the stickers on
would not be too difficult.

Cheers
Szemir
