Hawking did work for me before and my current laptop does recognize it 
running kubuntu (not internet currently, but that is likely a user problem).

I believe people have said that the prism chipset works but the easiest 
way to find out is plugging it in.

I think Gustin has had good luck with SMC.

I have Dlink and Linksys but they did not work (at least the models I had).
