This may seem like a weird post, but I thought I would through it out to
the group anyways.

A friend of mine who works for the city & developed this survey sent it
to me to fill out. While it is more around the subject of land
management, transit, etc., I did take the liberty to put a few pitches
in the comments for the city better using resources by at least looking
at using FLOSS & related technologies to potentially re-purpose old
computers (i.e. LTSP).

This was done within the context of better resource & land use &
day-to-day operations & I hinted how using FLOSS can potentially save
money for other things & by repruposing old system can potentially keep
them out of landfills.

If anyone wants to fill it out, please do so. Please direct any
negative comments & flame directly to me & not the group please

Hello all,

As most of you know, I have been working on the new Municipal
Development Plan/Calgary Transportation Plan Project (Plan It Calgary).
As part of the project, I have been busily working with my team to
produce a Workbook and Questionnaire for Calgarians to answer.

I know many of you have comments to make about transit, land use etc, so
here is your chance!

The "Where do we grow from here?" Workbook and Questionnaire, is
available on-line at calgary.ca/planit

You can answer the questionnaire (8 questions) by clicking on the link
below:

https://www.morrisonhershfield.com/DNET_Survey/survey.aspx

I encourage you to read the Workbook at calgary.ca/planit and fill out
this Questionnaire. Pass it along to anyone you think may be interested
in the future of Calgary's land use and transportation. Your comments
will be considered in the development of a long-term Land Use and
Mobility Plan for the city of Calgary.
