For the microcontroller workshop, I'm aiming for a >$50 price tag including programmer. Being able to use Linux to program it is not a main priority, as I have zero experience in that area. The Arduino looks like it'll be $60 inculding a programmer at the cheapest, so it may be an option. I was thinking something more along these lines for the workshop: http://www.ti-estore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=EZ430-F2013 At $20 for everything, it's hard to say no! That said, I'm open to using the atmegas, but I haven't seen a complete development environment for < $50 yet. If you see one, let me know! -Mark C. _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
