Hi Shawn, You don't say what kind of wireless card is installed in the laptop - I'm going to assume it's the Broadcom wireless b/g card. That's the bad news, Broadcom doesn't give out much in the way of specs to help people write drivers for their hardware. The good news is that you can probably us 'ndiswrapper' to get around this.
You'll need to run the 'lspci' command in an xterm to confirm the wireless card. AR5212 802.11abg NIC (rev 01) The wireless card on my laptop is in blue in the above output. After you get the name of the card you can check here and/or search google for some more help. Another alternative is to pick up a supported PCMCIA or USB wireless device - depends on which is more valuable, time or money. Cheers, J.J.
