Hi All, Despite there not being any indication on the website, there was a meeting tonight as per usual. And for those who are wondering it was the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
As part of tonight we bid farewell to the old executive and elected new people to the positions. On behalf of CLUG members I want to thank the outgoing executive for their contributions and service over the last year. Often times, we don't see what goes on behind the scenes to make CLUG what it is. So to the executive, a tip of the old Fedora (intentional pun) and a hearty thanks for a job well done. On behalf of CLUG I also want to welcome the new executive on board and wish them all the best over the next year. The new executive is as follows: * President: John Jardine * Vice-President: Gustin Johnson * Secretary: Cameron Nikitiuk * Treasurer: Kin Wong On a personal note, I look forward to working with the executive to make some positive healthy changes to CLUG and to working to develop an increased membership. Many thanks to Shawn for his impromptu presentation on "Streaming Media" and creating your own online radio station. The link to the resources on his website should be posted soon. Also thanks to Shawn for the donation of the magazines as door prises tonight. There are many exciting things already on the works and for anyone who wants to participate, please contact the executive on how you can get involved.
