Hi all, I'm looking for a solution to bring up a VPN link between two (or more) machines, the question I have is how do I track down the best route between machine A and machine B?
I can register each machine on a service such as DynaDNS, however if the two machines are on the same network it is unlikely that a router will rewrite/redirect requests back into the network. NAT'ed connections oould also prove a problem, so as a last resort I guess that some form of 'reflector'/proxy would be needed. The sort of thing I'm thinking about is quite like ICE (which is used for VoIP connections between peers), anyone tried applying this to other protocols? Simon. _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
