Having just blown some money on (yet) another GPS I have a spare: 'Yellow Etrex' (1st Gen, without WAAS, software 2.14) and home-made serial cable. I have the manuals etc in the basement somewhere and will attempt to find them this weekend.
Whilst this isn't up to the accuracy to map tracks for OSM (hence buying a new one) it's still OK for geo-caching and geo-locating photos/waypoints/etc. If someone wants to make an offer in the region of $40 or $50 let me know off list, otherwise it's going on eBay.
