There seems to be more than a few who are interested. So I think a dedicated workshop/training day seems in order. But I would suggest we keep things focused on Python for this.
Ruby would be a different topic/event (sorry Rob), and Django is Python based, but has a very focused purpose (web content). No reason we can't tackle these topics after the fundamentals are covered (i.e a separate event for them). So the question is if we know of any Python experts who are willing to do a workshop for us. I know of one fellow (past CLUG member) who has the skills, but may or may not be up to the workshop idea. I'll see if I can track him down and ask. Any other leads? The next question is date/location. For that I think we need the exec involved. Oh Gustin is on the exec now. How convenient... :) (hint hint, nudge nudge) I'll post any news here when I have it...
