Hello Dan, Are you referring to cellular phones or home phones? If cellular, the only one I know of is the Motorola Razr2 v8, which I think still only runs applications the same as other phones (either signed, or java, or something, I'm not an expert by any means.) I do know that the Razr2 v9m (the Telus version of the Razr2) does NOT run Linux, but does connect to Fedora 9 at least enough that you can use the micro SD card in it. I've been meaning to look for other Linux based cell phones for a while, but I just don't want to give up my perfectly functional, albeit crappy, phone just so I can get one that runs Linux (past experience tells me that I'll probably break the phone in short order, anyway.) I have been waiting (it seems like forever) for the FreeRunner (aka Neo1973) to come out. http://www.openmoko.com/index.html Who knows when that'll happen though, or if it will even be any good as a phone. -Mark C. _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
