The neutrality of the Internet is likely going to be, if it is not allready
the most important and significant issue facing man kind now. Preserving the
Internet neutrality from negative influences affecting the performance of
certain applications, or bandwidth allocation for some destinations or any
other cleaver wrappers to what amounts to censorship on the internet must be
opposed and resisted to the greatest extent possible. Try and find articles
and information about Linux in the main stream media, go visit lites like
Microsoft, cnn, cbc, etc... and you get the idea , which sites are going to
be freely accessable, and you find none, and linux is not even a very
sensitive subject at that, what do you think would happen to sites caring for
minority opinions, special intrest groups, political dissidents, and the list
can go on. These sites would be actively blocked from any potential audience,
the internet will then become more like tv and radio, owned and controlled by
a few, and largely a one way communication channel. The internet was meant to
be a multidirectional, non obstructive method of communication for all to
equally access, contribute to and benefit from.

Cheers
