Just got a fresh Kubuntu install on the laptop, and put KDE 4.1 on there. I'm happy to report that Kontact is back AND it seems to be handling large IMAP accounts MUCH better than in the past...
Now, if I can figure out how to change the "icon view" in the folderview panel.... Would prefer something smaller, or maybe the traditional "info" style...
