There is a slight delay with my postings to the lists, so you'll get my other reply sometime..... I think you are after the IP address of the tftp server which serves the kernel to the diskless client, right? This may have nothing to do with the other servers which the machine may run against. If you are using dhclient you can get this as 'request tftp-server'. Don't know what else to suggest.... maybe there is not a method :-( If you are looking for the server which is serving the root file system, that should be easy to look up as it will be where the '/' is mounted at the time.
