I was thinking of driving to Calgary for this but if it is free and the room will be packed then it is not worth the bother.
I see no harm in charging $5 a head for people that truly want to be there. The money could be given to the Free Software Foundation, they do good work with the money. Maybe next time he comes to town a better plan can be in place so us country folk in Lethbridge can attend.
