multithreaded Javascript, native JSON evaluator, embedded video with DOM hooks (ala HTML 5). This is going to make web apps much more interesting.

apparently this demo page finds motion in an video playing on the page, draws a bounding box around the moving parts, with a centroid (the cross hairs) - in real time.

Who woulda thought web apps would be capable of that so soon?  :)
